I grew up in the Okanagan and there are quail EVERYWHERE. It's a semi desert (in Canada, I know) so there's a lot of brush around for the quail to run around in. I miss them! I'd take them over pigeons any day.

So anyone not familiar with the quail are going to find the "Chicago" FX kinda odd, but that's EXACTLY what they sound like. I even looked it up on bird watching sites, that's the bird call.
